Adding a New User to WordPress
To add a new user to a WordPress website, follow these five steps:

Login to the WordPress dashboard to access the backend of your website. In most cases, accessing the login screen can be done by adding “/wp-admin/” to the end of your website URL.

Locate the “Users” option on the left-hand side menu. Click on this option to access new features related to users and different permissions options.

At the top of the Users page, find and click the “Add New” button.

Fill out the form that populates and set the role to “Administrator.” If you create an account for a team member at Maennche VCMO, please check the “Send the new user an email about their account” option.

To finish adding a new user to WordPress, click the “Add New User” button.
Once these steps are completed, the new user will receive an email informing them that the new account has been created. Depending on the role and permissions chosen, this can open up new options to add or edit content, update themes, update plugins, and much more. If your needs change, users can also be removed from the same page.
